GROUP SKILLS-BASED TRAINING
A.C.E. Community Support Services LLC offers a host of group-skills training that is designed to engage individuals in group-formatted sessions towards the attainment and achievement of specific life or daily-living skills.
Life skills that are generally discussed and achieved among participants during group sessions include:
- Interpersonal skills
- Problem Solving
- Healthy Coping Mechanisms and Adaptive skills
- Daily Living Skills
- Resource Management skills
- Medication Management
- Basic Knowledge (and Best Practices) of issues or challenges surrounding substance abuse, peer pressure, bullying, Healthy living tips, and other topics that assist in meeting the youth’s or family’s needs.
Group Skills-Based Training is a part of the CORE Services program, and are held for Adults (6 hours a week), and for Youth/Adolescents (3 hours a week), and include the following groups/topics:
- Anger Management
- Coping Skills
- Substance Abuse
- Independent Living
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Medication Management
- Understanding Mental Health Diagnoses
- Parenting Skills
- CPR/First Aid
